The Department of Mechanical Engineering is started in 2007, to places its primary emphasis on imparting experiment knowledge to the students with a scientific bend to mind and urge to understand the modern progress in the mechanical field. It offers an Under-graduate B.E.-Mechanical Engineering with intake of 120 students and a Post-graduate M.E.-Energy Engineering programme with 18 intake. Both the courses are approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. This Department is responsible for teaching subjects relating to Mechanical Engineering and conducting practical thereof as per curricula prescribed by the affiliating university. This program is also designed to motivate the students to meet the challenges of other related fields such as Computer Aided Design, Manufacturing, Simulation and Analysis, Mechatronics and with a wide based knowledge in the design and problem solving aspects.

Duration: 4 Year

Eligibility: 12th / Diploma

Course Fee: As per Anna University Regulation Fees
